My husband is obsessed with Tex-Mex food. I think I’ll probably being posting about that a lot, so be prepared! Seriously, though, my husband grew up in Texas and ate tons of Tex-Mex food. It doesn’t matter what I make, this is always his favorite type of food.
Well, most Tex-Mex recipes end up requiring taco seasoning as part of the recipe. So much so, that I have this recipe memorized. Since I only have a couple recipes memorized, that should tell you how often I’ve made this taco seasoning mix!
We mostly use this for tacos, but it’s called for in our Taco Pasta recipe, Chili Nacho Supper, my mom’s Turkey Enchiladas, and there’s even more I can’t think of!
I try my hardest not to use any packet seasoning, which is especially helpful since there is a lot of gluten allergies out there and most packet seasonings have gluten in them. We don’t have any gluten allergies in our family, but we have friends that do.
So if you need a taco seasoning recipe, reach for this one! It’s simple and easy and if you keep seasonings on hand, you should have them all! You can also make up this recipe beforehand and store it so it’s already made for when you need it!
