Growing up, I was the only one cleaning the bathrooms in my house. While I don’t blame my mom, (it’s honestly my least favorite chore!), I also hated cleaning the bathroom. While the toilet is the absolute worse, I also really disliked cleaning the bathtub.
The bathtub always had soap scum all around it, hair in the drain and just was a huge job. We used a commercial soft scrub, but it always had bleach in it, so I had to be careful to never get it on my clothes. Not to mention, it always stunk!
So as an adult, I had to come up with something different, as I no longer wanted anything with bleach in my house. So I came across a recipe for soft scrub and tried it out. I wasn’t a huge fan of that recipe, but I could see the potential. So with some experimenting, I came up with this recipe!
It’s a very simple recipe, (my favorite!) and uses ingredients I always have on hand, and is so easy to whip up when I need some! If you’re looking to get rid of chemicals in the house, but need something easy to replace it, try this recipe out!
