A life grown at home

As football season is upon us, this is the perfect recipe to share! While I’m not such fan of football (and neither is my husband), I do love the food! This dip is my absolute favorite food to eat if I have to suffer through a game!

Now of course, we eat this dip year round! If my kids had their way, we’d be eating it on a weekly basis! But while it doesn’t last very long in this house, we never complain when it’s on the menu! I also will be sharing some recipes in the future that help stretch this dip recipe if you’re feeding a crowd.

In this house, we have to double the recipe! Even then, it still doesn’t fill them up and we need more on the side. Thankfully, it’s easy to make and we often serve with other easy appetizers to fill their stomachs!

You can make this with canned chicken or you can cook and shred your own chicken. We make it both ways and while I prefer the taste and texture of the cook and shred method, you can’t beat how easy this is to throw together with canned chicken.

So if you’re looking for a smash hit to make for a football party, start with this yummy dip! You’ll find everyone coming back for seconds!
